Infant Car Seats

Designed for newborns and small babies, the infant car seat is a small, portable seat that can only be used rear-facing until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their car safety seat manufacturer. Usually is around 25- 33 lbs.

The use of a car seat is mandatory for all children. Choosing the ideal car seat should be based on the child's age, weight, height and comfort. Parents must install the car seat before the child is born, as its use is mandatory when leaving the hospital.

In the car it must be installed with its base for greater stability. All models sold within the United States have Latch (Isofix) and some models offer the Load Lag system on their base for even greater protection during a collision. Load Leg is a kind of support that comes integrated in the base of the car seat, thus working in greater efficiency, fighting the effects caused by accidents. Load Leg is capable of reducing impacts by up to 46%.
