What’s microneedling?
It’s a minimally invasive treatment that increases your skin’s collagen production, resulting in undeniably flawless and youthful skin.
The treatment uses a roller with several microneedles to micropuncture the skin to treat sagging, wrinkles and fine lines, atrophic and acne scars, strech marks, hyperpigmentation, visible pores, etc.
Microneedling works through natural stimulation with micro needles that penetrate the dermis, favoring the formation of new collagen fibers, which enhance firmness and help support the skin.
How is the treatment?
During microneedling, appropriate cosmetics for the skin type and treatment will be used. The number of microneedling sessions will be defined by the professional after a thorough assessment of the patient's case and the treated area.
How much time does the treatment last?
Each microneedling session lasts from 30 minutes to 1 hour and the interval between each session should be one month.
What are the post-microneedling care?
For best results, it is necessary to avoid using makeup and sunscreen for the next 24 hours after each microneedling session, as well as sun exposure for at least 5 days.
